When a poor hair quality is used, your hair will start to look dry & brittle and start to tangle. Cheap hair is often processed using an acidic process that completely destroys the cuticle. Lower quality hair attempts to replace the cuticle with a silicone layer so that the hair appears healthy & shiny temporarily. After just a few washes the hair starts to become tangled, dry, and often, unmanageable.

Q: How do you wash your Extensions?

A: You can wash your 100% Human Hair Extensions just like you would your own hair. Choose a shampoo & conditioner that is intended for dry or damaged hair. This will allow you to add moisture to the hair. Shampoo hair starting from the top to the bottom, rinse, and either lay flat to dry or blow-dry if necessary! Remember, you will want to wash your hair every few wears or as you feel necessary! Your hair extensions will not be getting the oils that are extracted naturally to your own hair, so they do not have to be washed as often. You will find that you will not need to wash the extensions as often because they will stay clean and styled for days.

Q: How long with this hair last?

A: As long as you make it last! Since these clip-in extensions are not actually permanently in your hair, you can apply them and remove them as often as you please. This clip-in technique allows the hair to last longer than other methods because you do not have to constantly damage them with everyday styling procedures. You can style the hair as you desire before even applying them in your hair.

Q: Do the Clip-in Hair Extensions damage your own hair?

A: No, they will not damage your own hair. Clip on extensions are a great alternative to weaving, braiding and adhesive hair extensions, which can damage your own hair. Clip-in extensions actually allow your own hair to grow and become healthier.

Q: Can I cut and/or color my extensions?

A: Yes! All hair is 100% human hair and can be cut and/or colored. We suggest taking them to a stylist so they can blend the layers of the extensions in with your own hair for a very natural look.

Q: Washing the Hair To The Top

A: Before shampooing, gently remove all tangles.
If hair is excessively tangled, a spray-on conditioner should be used.

Always use a mild shampoo or a specially formulated for chemically treated hair.

Run the hair under warm water and after placing a small amount of shampoo on your fingers, gently work the shampoo in the hair, stroking downward from the weft base to the ends. Do not twist, scrub or rub the hair. Use the shampoo sparingly.

When clean, rinse thoroughly under warm running water until the water runs clear. Be sure to rinse until all shampoo is removed, as improper rinsing could result in damage.

A: Just like your own hair, these extensions need to be conditioned after shampooing to maintain a healthy shine and promote styling ease.

Place a small amount of conditioner in your hand. Gently work into the hair and let sit for three to five minutes.

Rinse thoroughly in warm water.

Gently towel blot to remove excess water.

While wet, gently comb the hair to remove tangles. Using a large toothed comb, move in a downward motion away from the clips and to the ends. DO NOT use a bristle brush on wet hair as it may pull or break the hair.

Hang to air dry, set in rollers or use a blow dryer on a low setting, as desired.

Please Note: Human Hair extensions have been previously treated and chemically processed. It is not recommended to lighten or lift color from this hair. If you must color the human hair extensions, we recommend purchasing the TOP SECRET "White Chocolate" color Extensions and using semi permanent color to deposit only. Each box inlcudes a testing weft.
